This week let’s… Take a break from staring at a screen

EN.We all love to be in front of the screen of our phones, tablets and computers but some times take a break could be a good idea specially if you suffer from dry eyes, headache or you feel tired very often.

I know this could be difficult because we really love to be online but we have to take care of our eyes, rest for each part of our body is super important and here I list some of my favorite options to reduce time in front of the screen.

ES.Todos amamos estar frente a las cantallas de nuestros telefonos, tabletas y computadoras pero algunas veces tomar un descanso es una buena idea especialmente si sufres de ojos resecos, dolores de cabeza o si te sientes cansado muy a menudo.

Se que esto puede ser dificil porque amamos estar en linea pero tenemos que cuidar de nuestros ojos, descansar es super importante para cada parte de nuestro cuerpo y aqui les dejo una lista de mis opciones favoritas para reducir el tiempo frente a los monitores.

Don’t take phone with to your bedroom

Bedroom is rest area so we need to remove any distraction, this include not just phones also computer even TV, is not just because the amount of time we could waste (not resting) on these distractions is also because the radiation that such devices emit.

Set up a timer

Limit the time we spend in front of the screen is also a good idea during day, do this on your work and on your personal devices could help a lot. There are applications that remind you to take a time off once in a while to stretch or take a coffee in order to go away from the screen; for tablet or phone you can set up a schedule to minimize the time you spend on your phone, start looking to your phone every 2 to 3 hours instead of all the time.

Focus on what are you doing

Whenever you are doing something be there and make sure you understand what are you doing, distractions could seem lack of commitment and not to mention while driving you could cause a severe accident, so keep focus.

No traigas tu telefono a tu habitacion

El dormirotio es un area de descanso por lo que debemos remover cualquier distraccion, esto no solamente inlcuye telefono, tabletas y computadoras hasta television, esto no solamente por el tiempo que desperdiciamos (no descansando) en estas distracciones es tambien por la cantidad de radiacion que estos dispositivos emiten.

Pon el temporizador

Limiatar el timepo que pasas en frente de la pantalla es tambien buena idea durante el dia, hacer esto en trabajo y con tus dispositivos personales puede ayudarte mucho. Hay aplicaciones que te recuerdan tomarte un tiempo fuera de vez en cuanto para estirarte o tomar cafe y asi descansar de la pantalla; para tu tablet o tu telefono puedes ponerte un horario para minimizar el tiempo que pasas en tu telefono, inicia con mirar tu telefono cada 2 a 3 horas en lugar de todo el tiempo.

Enfocate en lo que estas haciendo

.Siempre que estes haciendo algo mantente presente y asegurate de entender lo que estas haciendo, las distracciones pueden dar la impresion de falta de compromiso y no necesito mencionar que mientras conduces puedes causar accidentes severos, por ello mantente enfocada.
